TOWERS I

Perched on the 12th floor, the condo offered stunning views, but the original space was dark and confined. Our goal was to open it up, maximizing natural light and creating a home that flows seamlessly from kitchen to studio. By removing everything except the sink’s general location, we reimagined the layout, extending the soffit into the former dining area to unite the spaces.

For the client, an artist, natural light was essential in the studio, which now feels fully connected to the home. The kitchen is bright and airy, with expansive counters, large drawers for easy storage, and a marble island with dramatic veining that complements the new porcelain tile floors. Custom lighting adds flair to both the kitchen and studio.

What was once a separate dining room now hosts high tables with glass tops, an easel, baskets of paints, and a vintage floor lamp atop a geometric rug. A central table serves as a workspace, breakfast spot, or place to enjoy sunsets and thunderstorms, while a chandelier ties the spaces together.

The bathroom was transformed from dark and dated to a serene retreat. A spacious new shower, built-in cabinets, and a fresh vanity provide both function and style. Floor-to-ceiling sheers, soft gray textures, new furniture, motorized shades, and curated artwork create height, elegance, and a sense of tranquility throughout the bedroom. Every detail reflects a balance of artistry, comfort, and light, making the home both functional and inspiring.

Testimonial: “This was a challenge to make an 80’s condo into our dream home. Our hobbies of cooking and art were our main focus, but how to blend the space into a warm contemporary elegant space was the challenge we gave Nathan. He was certainly up to the task, and we were not living in town so his staff took care of every little detail of this total remodel.”
