Nathan Taylor, Owner and Principal Designer
Principal designer and owner of Obelisk Home, Nathan Taylor has been designing interiors for more than two decades. Nathan oversees both residential and commercial projects from initial construction plans to every minute detail of the interior. He believes that any space, whether traditional or contemporary, can be warm and personal by adding collected or family pieces into the design plan.

Chris Hodge, General Manager
As General Manager, Chris oversees daily operations and accounting. He works with our internal departments in all aspects of our workflow and communicates regularly with our vendor partners to monitor production and transit status of our orders. In his spare time, he loves to spend time outdoors - camping, kayaking and traveling.

Nicole Fuller, Director of Strategy
Through marketing, website design and photo shoot direction, Nicole has been overseeing the Obelisk Home brand for over 12 years. Occasionally she will assist with design projects, sourcing.
She is the mother of three sweet little dumplings—Ruby (17), Rocco (14), and Oggie (3.5).

Colby Kern, Associate Designer
Colby is a multi-talented creative with a passion for transforming spaces. With 10 years of interior design experience, Colby brings a unique blend of artistic vision a young flair to his projects. He blends his passions for photography, painting, and interior design seamlessly to create harmonious and functional spaces that reflect the individuality of his clients.
Whether he’s designing a home, painting a canvas, or composing a photograph, Colby brings a unique perspective to all his endeavors.
Outside of the office, Colby enjoys exploring new countries, dancing at concerts, relaxing poolside, and spending time with friends in dive bars.

Toni Echols, Design Coordinator and Project Manager
Born in New Orleans, raised in Little Rock, Toni and her family came to call Springfield home in 2009. Her background is in residential and commercial construction, but her true passion is beautiful interiors and art. Her husband, John, son Hobbes and golden-doodle, Calvin, are pretty special to her too!
As Design Assistant/Project Manager, Toni assists the Obelisk design team in many ways. From client relations, to sourcing furniture, lighting, and accessories, to scheduling installations, and everything in between.

Landon Enlow, Store Manager
Landon is the Store Manager, making him one of the first faces you might see when you visit Obelisk Home. A native to Springfield, He is responsible for ensuring that all our clients get the same special treatment, whether they walk into our store or reach out through an email or phone call. Landon has his degree in Interior Design from Missouri State University. When not in the store, Landon is often found at nearby concerts, or local art galleries.

Sam Evans, Gallery Director
Sam loves to surround herself in all things art. She graduated from Drury University in 2021 with Bachelor of Arts in Arts Administration, Art History, and History. She has a dog named Lizzie, and she likes to spend her free time listening to podcasts, painting, or watching true crime YouTube videos.

Jesus Arizaga, Warehouse and Visual Merchandiser
When Jesus is not at home spending time with his daughter and family he can be found organizing or rearranging things to give a fresh look. Jesus loves to decorate but really enjoys decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Jesus loves to be crafty and has quite the talent on creating chalk drawings.
At Obelisk Home you will find him rearranging the store, assisting clients, and making deliveries to clients homes.

Penny Scroggs, Design Assistant
Penny is a client turned Obelisk design team member. After graduating from Mizzou with a degree in Environmental Design, she stayed at home to raise her 2 boys, Levi (18) and Cooper (17). After moving around for a bit and sending her oldest to college she is excited to be entering the Interior Design field to put her degree to use and nurture her love of art and interiors. She is a lover of pattern, color, and quirk and loves finding ways to inject personality into the spaces she creates.
Penny loves reading non-fiction, making mixed media art, traveling and spending time with her husband and family.

Brittany Bryars, Technical Designer
Brittany is originally from Sikeston, Missouri, and graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design and a minor in Construction Management. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Project Management through Missouri State’s accelerated program. Her passion for design began at a young age while helping with small construction projects, where she discovered her love for turning spaces into more than just places, but into homes filled with character and comfort.
Outside of work, Brittany enjoys traveling to new countries, trying different restaurants, binge-watching a good TV show, and going to concerts. She also loves spending time with her friends, loved ones, and her two cats, Gemma and Aurora.

Lacy Ruiz, Part-time Design Assistant
Lacy Ruiz is a student at Missouri State University pursuing a degree in Interior Design. An artist and creative at heart, she brings an artful perspective to every project, blending her passion for the visual arts with her love of creating beautiful, functional spaces. Lacy approaches each design with curiosity and care, focusing on the details that make a space feel intentional, personal, and collected.
Outside of the office, she is a ceramicist, aspiring analog photographer, multimedia artist, and serial hobbyist, who is always exploring new creative avenues to expand her skills as a designer and artist.

Angela Houska, Social Media Manager
Angela exited the healthcare field to pursue her passions in design and architecture. She is a photographer by trade and assists us with social media and advertising along with contributing as a design assistant. Angela loves helping others curate a space that reflects their personalities and makes them feel good.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her dog Hank. Angela loves antiquing and you’ll find her at a local thrift shop any chance she can get.
