Designed with a large extended family in mind, this renovation focused on creating flexible, welcoming spaces for everyday living and entertaining. The dining room was envisioned as the true heart of the home, functioning as an informal gathering space for meals, games, and conversation. A custom dining table anchors the room, complemented by a dramatic handmade chandelier that serves as a striking focal point.
The main living area balances active family life with moments of quiet retreat. Features such as a bar, piano, and expansive glass doors enhance the sense of openness, while a thoughtfully arranged seating area centers around a custom concrete fireplace surround. A built-in window seat and dedicated reading nook provide additional seating and create intimate moments within the larger space.
A multi-purpose laundry room was designed to support daily routines with ease, offering ample storage, concealed laundry chutes, rolling carts, and generous work surfaces. Durable materials, sliding track doors, and a large window ensure the space remains bright, efficient, and seamlessly integrated into the home’s overall design.
