Though structurally sound, the home was outdated and inefficient. This renovation reimagined the space around the homeowners’ lifestyle, prioritizing both beauty and function. To support their love of entertaining, the former laundry and pantry were transformed into a modern, highly functional kitchen. Walls were opened, doorways reframed, and LED lighting added throughout to improve flow and longevity.
Designed for aging in place, the main level was thoughtfully updated while preserving architectural integrity. A new master wing features a zero-entry shower, sloped floors, in-suite laundry, and enhanced lighting. The former master suite became a warm, private library retreat with large windows, a new fireplace, and custom wood details.
Local artists contributed bespoke elements—from blown glass pendants to carved stone and custom furnishings—resulting in a timeless home that seamlessly blends accessibility, functionality, and artistry.
