Becca Mercer is a floral still life painter and designer based in the historic neighborhood of Rountree in Springfield, Missouri. Working in the impressionist tradition, using the medium of acrylic on canvas and paper, she draws inspiration from the creative women in her family who passed down a love for art and an appreciation for beauty through their own floral and landscape paintings. Her vibrant impasto work captures energy and movement, offering an almost vintage, expressive take on floral still life. In addition to her fine art practice, Becca collaborates with small businesses and local groups to thoughtfully combine her artwork with graphic, brand, & event design through her studio, Oh Be Joyful Creative.
