With over two decades of experience as an interior designer, Principal Designer, Nathan Taylor oversees both residential and commercial projects from initial construction plans to every minute detail of the interior. Furthermore, Nathan believes that any space, whether traditional or contemporary, can be warm and personal by adding collected or family pieces into the design plan.
Whether designing a home or a business, he understands a client’s needs and wants in order to create a beautiful yet functional space. With over 20 years dedicated to the craft of “living well”, Nathan makes interior design and home planning look easy, or at the very least—fun. Perhaps it is because he is natural at combining refreshing informality, timeless good taste, and innovative thinking?
Colby is a self-proclaimed branding connoisseur. He fulfills his role as a media assistant by combining his artistic abilities and his quirky personality with his love of branding and blogging. His blogs have been featured around the world online and in popular magazines like Fuse and Home & Garden.
Colby combines his love of art and design into hip, livable luxury. As our Associate Designer, he brings a fresh eye and youthful spirit to the spaces he creates. He also uses his background as a social influencer and photographer to manage our social media, project shoots, and ad styling. His charm and quick wit make him a joy to be around.
Exchange just a few words with Toni and immediately you’ll know that she’s from the south. Born in New Orleans, raised in Little Rock, she and her family came to call Springfield home in 2009. Toni’s background is in residential and commercial construction, but her true passion is for beautiful interiors and art. Her husband, John, son Hobbes and golden-doodle, Calvin, are pretty special to her too!
As Design Assistant/Project Manager, Toni assists the Obelisk design team in many ways. From client relations, to sourcing furniture, lighting, and accessories, to scheduling installations, and everything in between.
Jess was born and raised in the St. Louis area, where she developed a love for art and photography. Embracing her passion, she transferred from Southeast Missouri State in 2017 to attend Missouri State University where she studied Interior Design, Sustainability, and Construction Management. Jess believes that interior design presents the perfect opportunity to tell a little about each space’s owner, by creating the ambiance to reflect their personality.
She is the proud dog mother of a 110 pound Black Labrador Retriever named Finnegan who keeps her pretty busy. Jess enjoys drawing, hiking, watching old movies and traveling in her spare time.
