This Year’s Biggest Christmas Decor Trends
We all put so much thought into the designs of our homes throughout the year, so it’s only natural that we would at Christmas time. If you’re wanting to do something different with your holiday decor this year, we’ve rounded up 2017’s biggest Christmas decor trends and made a list!
Flocked Christmas Trees
We’ve been trying to satisfy the need for a white Christmas for longer than you might think. Back in the 1800s we sprinkled flour on trees, but flocking as we know it didn’t begin until the 1950s. This trend faded away over the years, but it’s back with full force now! We love it!
The Dinner Table
Literally the easiest way to get into the holiday spirit is to set the dinner table and adorn it with seasonal goods like garland, twigs, berries, and wooden chargers. 2017’s biggest trend is mixing rustic and natural elements into a refined palette.
Use Presents As Decor
It’s a darn shame to spend all that time wrapping gifts and not show off your hard work! Sprinkle stacks of wrapped presents (or empty boxes) throughout your home for an extra festive look!
Go for the Gold
Gold isn’t a new trend, but it sure stands the test of time! Mix gold elements into your Christmas decor and pair it with natural boxwood or live garland! Pulling in nature isn’t just a summer trend!
