LOOKOUT RIDGE

Objective
Our objective was to create an elegant and comfortable bedroom, utilizing the existing bed, dresser and the artwork: “Bears In Love Watching the Moon Rise Over the Water”.
Beginning with the Ikat fabric, we pulled in silk linen, cotton, and decorative trims to blend all colors. With a desire to keep it child friendly, linen was used for the heavily used items. Metallic plaster was trowelled over a restful blue to emulate the shimmer of the moon over the water in the art. The white chandelier added elegance and contrast against the blue. Classic blue and white ginger jar lamps, lacquer nightstands and family photos all work together to create a perfect retreat for a young energetic couple.
This was my first time hiring a decorator, and truthfully, I didn’t know how it was going to work out. However, after working with Nathan on the entryway, then the living room, kitchen, and master bedroom, I can truly say that he has been a blessing in our lives!
